Keene State College (NH) has set aggressive sustainability goals and, like many higher education institutions, faces barriers to implementing them. We will learn about the creative vision and bold initial actions of this public liberal arts college and their plans toward achieving multi-faceted, short and long-term goals on the road to decarbonization. The approach will reveal key elements associated with partnership, technology, and stakeholder engagement, as well as alternative financing.

As a company Siemens is well-along their path to carbon neutrality. The Chief Sustainability Officer of Siemens will delve into this aligned vision that helps to create synergies and momentum. One example of this is the distributed energy microgrid at the Princeton (NJ) research campus. This project demonstrates the optimization of localized energy generation and storage, building load, and grid supplied electricity, as well as supporting corporate research.

Learn how these campuses are planning and implementing solutions and how their lessons may help your campus achieve its goals.
