Nonprofit institutions offer limited Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing options in their retirement plans, despite substantial evidence that these strategies reduce risk and enhance long-term investment performance. For those organizations that have added those funds, they have also recognized that it helps to attract and retain top employees. Join us for an informative, in depth and interactive session where we hear firsthand from a company representative why they wanted to add these funds, how they did so, and the results they have seen.

Some key takeaways from this session:
  • ESG and responsible investing is the best way to support long term value creation - ESG is a performance driver.
  • Employees should ask if there are ESG funds in their retirement plan and if not, ask why not.
  • When people find out that they have ESG options in their retirement plan, there is an uptake in enrollment and contribution level. This shows that many people are looking for these options, especially millennials and Generation Zers.
