I have been working on climate justice for 22 years and now focus on Black colleges, BIPOC scholars and the African Diaspora. Unlike many, I believe climate change is a symptom of a lack of human compassion.  I'm not religious in a formal way but I resonate with this quote from E. Clinton Gardner relating love and justice: (1) Love is the fulfillment of justice; (2) justice is a necessary instrument of love; and Love without justice is sentimental, justice without love is tyrannical. If there is ever to be equity and integrity in our society and before we can ever walk humbly with God, we must love justice into action and activate mercy with love. I am thrilled with this special moment for Black women with a Vice President HBCU grad, a UN Ambassador and the first Black woman headed to the Supreme Court.  We must usher in an era of healing, regeneration, and reverence for one another and our planet. I am curious and impatient by nature so open to a range of topics.  I also have an odd sense of humor and try to push things forward.  I like sharing my work that is an eclectic mosaic of good activity that needs to happen.
